8th International Stem Cell School in
Regenerative Medicine



"Stem cells in development, disease and therapy"

This year’s Stem Cell School is looking into recent developments of stem cell technology - from characterization and isolation up to reprogramming and transplantation in medical applications.

The conference lectures will be given by experienced and internationally reputated key-note speakers. The high-level of scientific expertise will be embedded into a communicative atmosphere and a special educational framework for young researchers.

Conference outline:

The conference will tie on the international orientation and quality of the Spring School series in Regenerative Medicine, that have been organized by the University of Rostock and its highly reputated partners during the last years.

The lecture week from September 3rd - 5th will be complemented by the practical courses from September 6th - 9th in which the participants can learn different key methods in handling and research of stem cells. The practical courses take place in small study groups up to five persons under the personal tutoring of experienced lab personal.

Registration:
We will accept up to 150 applicants for the conference and about 25 for the practical courses. Please use the application form on the official registration site. After registration you will recieve updated information on the conference schedule and on the practical course topics shortly!

The main registration phase is already closed.

However, you can still register as local attendee* via official registration form!


Fee and Funding:
There will be a conference fee for the lecture week including attendance to all oral sessions and social events and a seperate fee for the practical courses. You can apply to one of at least 60 scholarships. For the selected applicants the lecture week and/or practical courses will be fully funded including travel, conference fee and accomodation. Financial support depends on experience, age, origin and motivation of the applicant.*
